Compensation Overview

The annual base salary range provided for this position is a nationwide market range and represents a broad range of salaries for this role across the country. The actual salary for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment. As part of our comprehensive compensation and benefits program, employees are also eligible for performance-based cash incentive awards.

$105,900.00 - $174,800.00

What Is the Opportunity?

Join us as the Director, Business Delivery – Claim and champion transformative initiatives shaping Straight Through Processing (STP) strategies. As a collaborative leader, you will translate high-level business aspirations into tangible outcomes, driving automation, self-service solutions, and digital capabilities within Claim. Collaborating closely with technology leaders, you will forge strong partnerships to identify and deliver innovative business solutions and operational efficiency.

In this role, you'll have the opportunity to champion multi-year aspirational goals and translating them into actionable business plans. You'll lead the definition of crucial capabilities, crafting epics that align with our strategic objectives across multiple Value Streams. Throughout the execution phase, you'll remain at the forefront, ensuring seamless alignment between business vision and technological implementation.

What Will You Do?

  • Responsiblefor strategic developmentofahigh-levelbusinessvision for Straight Through Processing supporting multiple lines of business within Claim. Translating the vision intoa strategy with identifying key business capabilities; partners with Finance and the business to ensure the business value of what is being delivered is defined.

  • Understandsthebusinessvision,operatingvision,businessimperatives and capabilities and how they work together to define technology imperatives and business capabilities.

  • Helps to define both employee facing, customer facing, and analytic capabilities, thatalignwithbusiness’sstrategicimperatives,focusingonprojectsleveraging new technology to maintain and expand our competitive advantage.

  • Directly leads definition and refinement of business need, solutions, business strategic roadmaps, current and future state process flows,andresultingepicsandcandidatefeaturesinpartnershipwiththebusiness leaders. Business vision and resulting strategies can be complex and crosslines focused and align with Enterprise capabilities/priorities and assists with defining the performance goals, KPIs/OKRs and key milestones for the proposed solutions.

  • Supportsbusinessleadersintheanalysisactivities,requirementsgatheringand solution development to ensure business capability integrity is agreed to and works with business and technical architects to explore and define how the proposed solutions will fit into the overall Claim and Enterprise architecture.

  • Partnerswithbusinessleaderstoensuredeliveryandexecutionofepics or programs to ensure business capability is realized as well as to lead business readiness / change management / implementation of the capabilities being delivered as part of the achievement of the business goals and strategies.

  • Assists in the development of the strategy business value, providing input and drivingbalanceofsolutioncostandbenefitrealizationagainstcapabilitygoals and objectives and in partnership with business and technology, develops the strategy roadmap identifying timeframes, deliverables, and dependencies; partners to proactively manage and mitigate risk and appropriately escalate issues.

  • Leads and facilitates updates with Senior Leadership and ensures decisions are madeattheappropriatelevel.Demonstratesexecutiveleadershipcommunication capabilities and serves as a liaison to the business community to ensure that its needs are fully understood by the project team.

  • Participatesintheacquisitionofinformationandexpertisetohelpinformforward looking capability strategies.

  • Performotherdutiesasassigned.

What Will Our Ideal Candidate Have?

  • 8+ years of related experience is preferred

  • Prior experience in strategy development is preferred

  • Prior experience in project management is preferred

  • Prior software delivery experience preferred

  • Bachelor’s or advanced degree preferred

  • Prior experience within the P&C industry is preferred

What is a Must Have?

  • A minimum of 5 years of related experience required.
