PacSci EMC seeks a highly skilled and motivated Sr. Data Architect to oversee operational and strategic data reporting initiatives across various departments including Finance, Supply Chain, Production, and Manufacturing. The ideal candidate will be proficient in a variety of reporting tools including Power BI, Oracle BI, SQL reporting tools, Tableau, and Domo. This role requires a strategic mindset, exceptional analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders to deliver actionable insights that drive business performance and decision-making. Responsibilities:

● Lead the design, development, and deployment of data reports and dashboards that empower business stakeholders to make informed strategic and operational decisions.

● Collaborate closely with business leaders and end-users to understand their data reporting requirements and translate them into actionable insights.

● Utilize advanced data visualization techniques to create intuitive and visually engaging reports and dashboards.

● Implement best practices for data reporting and dashboard design to ensure clarity, accuracy, and usability.

● Drive continuous improvement in data reporting processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

● Work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate data from various sources into cohesive reporting solutions.

● Provide training and support to users on how to effectively utilize data reports and dashboards to drive business outcomes.

● Stay updated on emerging trends and technologies in data reporting and visualization to continuously enhance skills and knowledge.

● Collaborate with IT teams to ensure the scalability, reliability, and security of data reporting infrastructure.

● Regularly evaluate the performance and impact of data reports and dashboards, making adjustments as needed to meet evolving business needs and objectives.

Requirements:

Strong Background in Data Reporting and Analytics:

● Proven experience in developing and implementing data reporting solutions, preferably in a data warehouse environment.

● Proficiency in designing and optimizing data models for reporting and analytics purposes.

● Familiarity with various reporting tools and platforms such as Oracle Analytics Cloud, PowerBI, Tableau, SQL or similar.

Expertise in Data Warehouse Management:

● Demonstrated understanding of data warehouse principles, methodologies, and best practices.

● Hands-on experience in managing and maintaining data warehouse systems, including data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.

● Ability to optimize data warehouse performance and scalability to meet evolving business requirements.

Knowledge of Data Integration Techniques:

● Experience with data integration tools and technologies such as Oracle Data Integrator, Golden Gate, Informatica, or similar.

● Proficient in implementing data integration solutions to ensure seamless data flow across various systems and applications.

● Understanding of data integration strategies for consolidating data from disparate sources into a centralized repository.

Understanding of Best Practices in Data Management:

● Familiarity with industry best practices and standards related to data management, governance, and quality assurance.

● Ability to define and enforce data management policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and security.

● Experience in establishing data quality metrics and monitoring mechanisms to maintain high data integrity levels.

Collaborative Approach and Stakeholder Management:

● Proven track record of collaborating with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, IT professionals, and external vendors.

● Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate technical concepts and solutions to non-technical stakeholders.

● Ability to prioritize and manage stakeholder expectations while delivering data reporting and integration projects on time and within budget.

Continuous Learning and Certifications:

● Commitment to staying updated on emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in data reporting, data warehouse management, and data integration.

● Relevant certifications in data management, business intelligence, or related fields would be advantageous.

● Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.

● Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in data analysis, reporting, and business intelligence.

● Proficiency in a variety of reporting tools including Power BI, Oracle BI, SQL reporting tools, Tableau, and Domo.

● Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze complex datasets and extract meaningful insights.

● Experience working with stakeholders from diverse functional areas, such as Finance, Supply Chain, Production, and Manufacturing.

● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

● Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

● Certification in reporting tools such as Power BI, Tableau or Domo is a plus.

Hollister, CA: The salary range for this position is $114,655 - $212,750

This position is also eligible for bonus as part of the total compensation package.

Base pay offered may vary depending on various factors, including, but not limited to: job-related knowledge; skills; experience; and other eligibility factors such as geographic location. The Total Rewards package includes competitive base pay and an opportunity to enroll in a variety of benefit programs, generally including health insurance, flexible spending accounts, health savings accounts, retirement savings plans, life and disability insurance programs, and several programs that provide for both paid and unpaid time away from work.
