Description

Robert Half is actively recruiting on behalf of our respected client in the metallurgical sector for a Sales Analyst role based in Houston. This role presents a unique opportunity to join an established company that promises significant potential for both personal and career development. As a Sales Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in conducting in-depth forecast analysis and facilitating strategic decision-making to drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out forecast analyses to support the commercial team, ensuring all deadlines are met and providing data to inform decision-making.

  • Generate and analyze market intelligence to guide the commercial team's activities.

  • Use pricing models to create price simulations for various scenarios, assessing their impacts on volume and average price.

  • Conduct customer credit analyses to preempt potential delivery issues.

  • Monitor the fulfillment of contracts and commercial agreements.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for resolving commercial issues and initiating improvement measures in collaboration with teams based in Brazil.

  • Develop and maintain detailed KPIs for monitoring performance on both an individual and team level.

  • Lead in the SAP S/4 Hana project, ensuring effective collaboration with our team based in Brazil.

    Requirements

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business, or Economics.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; prior experience with SAP is advantageous.

  • Outstanding problem-solving skills.

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Experience:

Candidates should have at least one year's experience in a back-office/inside sales analyst role.

Language:

Bilingual proficiency in English and either Spanish or Portuguese is a requirement.

This position involves regular interaction with various departments within the organization, including Finance, Exportation, Commercial, Production, Logistics, HR, R& D departments, as well as external customer engagement.
