Logitech Value Engineering Project Manager in Hsinchu, Taiwan

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Value Engineering Project Manager to join our team. The Value Engineering Project Manager will be responsible for leading and coordinating value engineering initiatives aimed at optimizing costs, enhancing product quality, and driving continuous improvement across the organization. The ideal candidate will possess strong project management skills, a good understanding of value engineering principles, and the ability to collaborate effectively with global cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities:

  1. Manage value engineering projects from inception to completion, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and timelines.

  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize opportunities for cost optimization and product value enhancement.

  3. Oversee value analysis and value engineering (VAVE) studies with the Value Engineers and document all areas for improvement and develop cost-effective solutions.

  4. Develop and maintain project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and progress tracking to ensure successful project execution.

  5. Coordinate with HW Engineering, Global Sourcing Managers, and Product Design teams to maximize the acceptance and adoption of VAVE initiatives.

  6. Collaborate with Cost Improvement Project teams to identify and enhance cost-saving opportunities and value-added partnerships.

  7. Communicate project updates, key findings, and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders.

  8. Monitor and report on project performance, including cost savings, quality improvements, and other key metrics.

Requirements:

  1. Nice to have Bachelor's degree or certificate in engineering, program management, or a related technical field.

  2. Experience in project management, preferably in value engineering, cost optimization, or continuous improvement.

  3. Strong understanding of value engineering principles, lean methodologies, and cost analysis techniques is a plus.

  4. Demonstrated ability to work with cross-functional teams and drive collaborative problem-solving efforts.

  5. Proficiency in project management tools and software for planning, tracking, and reporting project progress.

  6. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical information to diverse audiences.

  7. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  8. Strong proficiency in English and Mandarin Chinese, required to effectively communicate with global teams.
