Job Description

  • Brief Job Summary

  • The Data Enablement for Decision Intelligence & Validated Analytics role works across data-focused projects in support of the Global Product Development and Supply (GPS) organization in the Data and Supply Technology Excellence team (DSTE), including the development, administration, and operation of applications in the Enterprise Strategy & Validated Analytics (ESVA) team. This role requires a passion for data and a knowledge of multiple technologies and concepts, with strong data skills and programming skills, including SQL, Python, and Java. Knowledge of agile project management, cloud computing, Machine Learning, R, and working with APIs would be a plus. The candidate will be part of the ESVA team in GPS IT.

  • GPS: All GPS business organizations

  • Role Purpose

  • Develop, operate, and enhance data management and analytic-focused digital capabilities in support of the ESVA team for GPS and GPS BIA. This includes development of decision intelligence and analytic solutions from solution design to testing, deployment, and full lifecycle management.

  • Key Responsibilities (role/business capability)

  • Operations Management: Support the administration and operation of the applications in ESVA, including leveraging data components from Enterprise Data Lake (EDL).

  • Data Analytics: Work with data/analytic technologies such as Tableau, Spotfire, Aera Decision Intelligence Platform, SQL, Python, Java, AWS/Azure/MS Cloud Products and Domino Data Labs

  • Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with different teams across GPS and GPS BIA organizations to assist in developing data requirements, data refinement business rules, acceptance criteria, testing approach, and change management plans for data management for analytic solutions

  • Data Knowledge: Develop a thorough understanding of the BIA and GPS data ecosystem and its technologies.

  • Governance Oversight: Ensure adherence to applicable data governance policies and procedures for GPS and GPS BIA data assets including management of data access policies

  • Vendor management and collaboration: deliver and support custom-built data solutions and partner with software vendors and service providers

Business Structure Analysis: create architectural diagrams and understand infrastructure setups, manage deployments of varying complexities
