Parsons Corporation Lead Engineer - Roads in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia

Job Description:

Position Overview:

Parsons is seeking a highly experienced Lead Engineer – Roads to join our team to provide technical expertise to our client on large-scale infrastructure projects, with a primary focus on roads and transportation systems. The successful candidate will leverage their extensive experience and will lead multidisciplinary teams, manage project timelines and budgets, and ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality solutions that meet client objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with clients to understand their goals, requirements, and challenges, and develop tailored project management strategies to address their needs.

  • Provide strategic leadership and technical oversight throughout all phases of road infrastructure projects, from conception to completion.

  • Lead and mentor a team of engineers and project managers, fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and collaboration.

  • Conduct risk assessments, identify potential issues, and implement mitigation strategies to minimize project disruptions and ensure successful outcomes.

  • Conduct regular site visits and inspections to assess project progress, quality, and compliance with regulatory standards and client specifications.

  • Prepare and deliver comprehensive project reports, presentations, and updates to client and senior management, highlighting key milestones, achievements, and challenges.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field;

  • Minimum of 18 years of experience in large scale road/transportation infrastructure projects and a minimum 10yrs+ experience in GCC (KSA experience ideally).

  • Proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale road infrastructure projects on time and within budget.

  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve excellence.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with clients, stakeholders, and team members.

  • Familiarity with relevant industry standards, regulations, and best practices in road construction and transportation engineering.

  • PMP certification or equivalent is a plus.
