The OpenText Business Analyst I will participate in a cross-functional team environment as part of the DFA Shared Applications Team. This position will be responsible for becoming knowledgeable in implementing, maintaining, and enhancing OpenText business applications which include Extended ECM, Capture Center, and Enterprise Scan with integrations to SAP and Salesforce.
The candidate will interact with their OpenText teammates and key business users to enhance OpenText business applications to meet business requirements. This includes supporting our project teams, providing input on system design, integration testing, user training, and post go-live support. The candidate will also provide day-to-day production support, including coordination with team members and external consultants. The candidate will follow approved DFA project management and governance standards.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Ability to gather business requirements and transform them into OpenText business application processes that can be implemented and supported
Coordinate or active participation with Shared Applications team members or business users in the analysis, design, development, documentation, performance testing, and implementation of technical business solutions
Work with the business to translate the business requirements into functional and technical specifications
Administration of the OpenText ecosystem
Maintain and develop technical scripts / programs in Perl, Java, and OpenText scripting language which utilize SOAP and REST API calls to move data and documents to integrated systems such as SAP
Troubleshoot and resolve issues raised by OpenText users in accordance with service level agreements to achieve end user satisfaction
Collaborate on cross-functional issues with a variety of resources including Servers and Cloud, Networking, End User Services, and Shared Applications team members
Follow DFA Development, Governance and Project Management standards

Required Minimum Qualifications:
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Computer or Data Science or equivalent experience
Familiarity with configuration and management of web application servers (IIS, Apache Tomcat) is a plus
Knowledge of Microsoft Server, SAP, Share Point and/or Salesforce is a plus
Experience creating and maintaining Perl script and/or Java is a plus
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Able to demonstrate written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with business users, stakeholders, technical teams, and various levels of management
Able to listen and communicate in a clear and concise manner, along with the ability to recognize the audience and tailor communications accordingly

Able to organize time and resources effectively to achieve goals (i.e., organizational skills)
Able to demonstrate leadership qualities as a self-starter, set direction, and complete assignments

Must be flexible with work schedules and available to work overtime on evenings and weekends, with or without advanced notice
Strong work ethic with ability and willingness to do ‘what it takes’
Able to work on-call
Must be able to read, write, and speak English
