Your New Role…

We are looking for a Talent Manager to be responsible for the recruitment of all roles (Entertainment & Fiction) for all development and production projects. In this role you will oversee work experience programmes, relationships with educational establishments and charities, and support new entrants and junior candidates in TV.

You’ll be involved in development of our career channels on social media, and will constantly search for innovative communication channels to ensure the best targeting of group-specific recruitment strategies and an excellent candidate experience in all phases from publication to recruitment.

Your Role Accountabilities…

  • Liaising with Executive Producers and SPs to create a talent brief; search for CVs using databases and other resources; checking availability and keeping database notes up to date.

  • Advertising production jobs widely at all levels and shortlisting suitable applicants.

  • Maintaining a positive image of both companies to freelancers at all levels, to retain talent and sustain competitive edge; nurture junior talent and fulfil a pastoral role.

  • Constantly striving to meet all broadcaster diversity requirements.

  • Keeping up to date with freelancers’ contract dates and catching up with freelancers before they finish their contract.

  • Mentoring interns, offering careers and CV advice and being a continual source of support throughout their contracts and beyond.

  • Managing work experience programme: selecting applicants for placements, best matching an individual to productions according to their experience and interests. Obtaining feedback on all work experience. Completing appraisal forms for college and university placements.

  • Having pre assessment meets or chats in some circumstances ahead of placements, entry and exit meetings with all work experience which includes going through their CV and offering them advice on networking and where best to look for entry level jobs.

  • In addition to your recruiting tasks, you will support your colleagues in the area of employer branding

Qualifications & Experience…

  • A background in television production with some exposure to talent management/recruitment

  • Experience in using various recruiting channels from active sourcing to social media and classic job boards

  • Knowledge and understanding of TV programming in Germany would be preferable

  • Very organised with ability to meet tight deadlines.

  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).

  • Ability to prioritise workload.

  • A positive “can do” attitude to all internal and external requests.
