Good Sam Enterprises is looking to fill a Senior Director of Insurance & Finance position to concentrate on growth strategy opportunities within an already-established multi-million dollar insurance, warranty, and finance businesses. The Senior Director position will work with internal business unit owners and cross-functional leaders to coordinate Good Sam's products and services integration to maximize owned-channel opportunities. The position will be responsible for driving new business expansion opportunities. The position will also require an entrepreneurial mindset and leadership skills to build a core team, create and drive a divisional insurance strategy, and manage partner execution.

The Senior Director position will be directly responsible for the Good Sam Insurance Agency (GSIA), and the Finance Center business. This responsibility will include operations, process management, client and partner relationships, as well as the execution of growth plans. Both businesses also require the Senior Director to act as a thought leader and manage the entire partner relationship and ensure mutual vision and execution of identified growth opportunities.

The role will also act as the company's expert in the Insurance and Financing space to help build the necessary competitive platform to grow Good Sam's business. The Senior Director of Insurance & Warranty Services will report directly to the SVP of Insurance & Warranty.

Responsibilities

Create, Manage, and Lead Good Sam's Insurance strategy and expansion efforts

  • Identify potential segments of business that will drive Good Sam's growth and profitability.

  • Manage existing and new client relationships, including partner status reports and performance for relevant books of business.

  • Manage partners to maximize efficiency and number of customers supported through the insurance agency or finance center.

  • Collaborate with enterprise leaders to identify where the insurance agency or finance center can help expand product offerings and provide consumers with more access to products & services.

  • Develop quarterly business expansion opportunity presentations to continue to challenge the status quo and deliver internal assessments on market competitiveness.

Manage cross-channel marketing strategy in coordination with internal and partner marketing teams

  • Drive weekly and monthly business calls to identify new growth & exceed marketing strategies while ensuring the continued performance of currently deployed marketing efforts.

  • Identify and escalate opportunities for improvement and drive action plans to deliver specific goals or KPIs.

  • Ensure cross-enterprise stakeholders continue to drive appropriate business KPIs.

  • Provide results and KPI assessments with improvement plans delivered to the executive team.

Build a state-of-the-art Insurance Agency

  • Expand agency offerings and partnerships by developing relationships with new partners that can be included in the agency to better support customer needs.

  • Develop cross-industry strategies to expand beyond RVs into marine and others.

  • Manage sales strategy with partners to ensure customer experience meets business goals.

Build a state-of-the-art Finance Center

  • Work with financing partners to expand product offerings that support different customer needs and establish go-to-market strategies with the associated solutions.

  • Be the point-of-contact for internal finance center expansion to new products & services.

Drive enhanced digital experiences for the Insurance Agency and Finance Center products

  • Ensure continued iteration and development for an enhanced digital experience to ensure lowest barrier to conversion for customers.

  • Drive partner investment in technology to support business needs.

Education & Experience

  • Minimum Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in operations strategy, business development, marketing, or related field. MBA preferred.

  • 10+ years of insurance experience required.

  • 5+ years of P&L management and leadership experience required.

  • Demonstrated and extensive experience with partner and vendor management.

  • Human capital management experience and proven record of growing team members.

Knowledge & Skills

  • Clear communication and presentation skills to lead discussions with internal and external executives.

  • Entrepreneurial and collaborative mindset.

  • Ability to think critically and implement effective solutions in an agile manner.

  • Capability to lead and mentor a team.

  • Proven experience with Microsoft Office suite.

  • Up to 25% travel is required.

Pay Range:

$158,655.00-$238,035.00 Annual
