Job Description

An employer is looking for a Remote Principal Storage Architect in one of the following states: CA, CO, OR, WA, HI, GA, VA, MD. The Principal Architect will be responsible for providing thought leadership to the business for their block and file storage needs. This will include participating in planning meetings, working with high-level stakeholders on solutions, and providing consultantship to multiple organizations across the business. The Principal Architect should be well-versed in a variety of technologies, comfortable working with technology vendors and high-level stakeholders, and have an architectural mindset.

Skills and Requirements

10+ years of experience with IT infrastructure (storage, data centers, networking, security, etc.)

5+ years of experience with architectural methodology and thought leadership for block and file storage (SAN and NAS)

Hardware and software experience with Dell Powermax, PowerFlex, VMAX, NetApp AFF-X00, FAS-X000, VXRAIL, Isilon, Pure FlashBlade, etc.

Certified or familiar with TOGAF, FedRamp, Zachman, etc. Healthcare experience

Business case management (consulting for RFPs, ROIs, SOWs, RFOs) null
