This role's purpose is to articulate business requirements and be responsible for planning, tracking, executing, delivering Risk projects across the various Risk functions including Clearing, Market, Credit, Operational, Governance and Privacy. This is a dynamic role requiring flexibility and a desire to learn and the ability to multi-task.

Responsibilities:

• To execute Risk Projects

• To gather and articulate business requirements prepared by the various risk teams and work to define project goals and objectives with the key stakeholders ensuring the projects purpose, scope and delivery timelines are clearly outlined.

• Ensure key stakeholders are fully informed throughout the duration of the project.

• Own the internal communication chain with the business for all aspects of the project, manage project Risks with a focus on expedient escalation where necessary.

• Key point of contact and administration of the project internally including the organisation of meetings, updates or fielding more general queries as the information conduit for the project.

• Work proactively with the dedicated Risk IT development Team to ensure specifications / development and the initial testing phase remain on track.

• Assisting with managing the third party vendor and project managers as necessary to hold to timelines, deliverables and specifications with escalations as appropriate to ensure full visibility and accountability.

• Proactively manage internal resource in conjunction with key business areas to ensure deliverables are met on time and in line with project plan.

• Be responsible for the system data requirements to meet the needs of each phase of the project including, identifying areas within the firm where data can be shared/ sourced across businesses/ functions within Marex Spectron to promote data efficiency.

• To ensure all users are adequately trained on the system according to their role in the organisation.

• To perform 1st line testing.

Skills & Experience:

• Proactive self-starter with proven experience in business analysis, project management, including planning, execution and closure.

• Degree educated or equivalent experience.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with experience of process flow, business processes and requirements capture.

• Strong leadership and communication skills, with excellent organizational and time management abilities.

• Proficiency in project management software such as Microsoft Projects.

• Working understanding of financial products traded on and off exchange.

• An understanding of Risk Management practices in one or more of the Risk functions desirable in addition to experience of Risk Management systems.

• Ability to work to tight timelines whilst delivering superior results.
