How does this role contribute to our collective success?

You will be joining the Delegated Underwriting Authority team who are tasked with the end to oversight of all data originating from AXIS’s delegated authority contracts. The primary focus of the role is assuming responsibility for the creation, streamlining, maintenance and support for various regulatory, MI/BI and KPI reports the team is reliant on and responsible for. High quality delegated authority reporting and data production and is viewed as a key component in AXIS’s ongoing delegated and data strategy.

What will you do in this role?

Key Roles

· Act as single source of collation for all required reportable data for the AXIS Operations DUA Team.

· Create, maintain and update as required regular regulatory reporting data.

· Identify, investigate, and undertake root cause analysis in relation to any Delegated UW data deficiencies.

· Acts as SME and query resolution centre for the data contained within DUA systems.

· To assist with the development of all DUA systems and provide support to the Delegated Operations Manager.

· Development, enhance and streamline existing monitoring of DUA MI in respect of performance monitoring, regulatory oversight, and adherence to KPI’s

Key Responsibilities

• Produce timely, accurate and high-quality committee packs for relevant groups and committees.

• Take ownership for dataset and report accuracy, act to eliminate existing data deficiencies and implementing enhancements and controls to avoid future deficiencies occurring.

• Continuous review and streamlining of all existing reporting seeking and striving for efficiency gains as much as possible.

• Ensure process documentation in relation to Delegated data management procedures are kept up to date.

• Assist in the development of DUA systems by undertaking a key role in data design considerations.

• When liaising directly with Brokers and Coverholders ensuring Axis’s value of courtesy is demonstrated by all within the team, escalating any failings directly to the Delegated Operations Manager.

• Ensuring clear and concise communication is maintained with all stakeholders.

• Resolve role related queries from both internal and external stakeholders.

• Develop/management and produce suitable and accurate MI relating to bordereaux data and other relevant Coverholder/Binder datasets when required for internal stakeholders.

• Use formal reporting mechanisms to promptly notify relevant parties of any perceived new risks or failures of existing control measures.

• Act in a way that pays due regard to the interests of customers and treats them fairly at all times.

• All Employees must endeavour to provide accurate, complete and appropriate data, in accordance with Axis’s Data Policy, as part of their roles and responsibilities at all times.

About You:

What you need to have:

• Strong analytical skills.

• Understanding of data warehousing and relationship structures.

• Preferred knowledge of VIPR – Intrali system, CRM systems and Power BI reporting.

• Excellent communication skills, comfortable in committee and senior management meetings .

• Strong knowledge of Excel’s more advanced functions and other Microsoft Office products to assist in data management.

• Knowledge of Lloyd’s Delegated Authority business requirements and the ability to apply them into day-to-day activities.

• Experience of working for organisations in the London Insuran
