Information Technology (IT) is critical to the future of GE Appliances, a Haier Company (GEA). GEA IT represents a major area of investment across the company and is essential to leadership, competitiveness and success. Our Bit502 partnership with Jefferson Community and Technical college is a key entry point for IT professionals at GEA.

This 2-year rotational program will expose you to 4 roles exploring the latest technology in our Digital Technology organization while working to obtain your associate degree from JCTC. Potential rotations may include roles in supply chain, cybersecurity, IT architecture, infrastructure, cloud technology, business services, data analytics, or ownership experience

How You'll Create Possibilities

Essential results-based duties

Rotations are designed to reflect the array of skills that are most vital for your professional success, with the goal of establishing a solid understanding of the Digital Technology organization. Establish and work towards professional goals that align with the business strategy in one of the following areas:

  • Supply chain

  • Project Management

  • Security & Risk Management

  • Data & Analytics

  • Infrastructure

  • Business Services

  • Ownership experience

Establish and work towards personal goals centered around school and chosen career path:

  • Maintain a 3.0 GPA throughout the apprentice program

  • Work with Program Leader and manager to identify post-graduation goals such as bachelor’s degree or specific certifications.

Establish and maintain relationships with business stakeholders to help ensure you success in the role:

  • Build relationships with your fellow development program participants through social and volunteer events

  • Participating in continuous coaching conversations with your manager, who will provide guidance throughout your internship

  • Collaborate with teammates and applicable stakeholders to achieve solutions
