Accenture Payroll Tax Associate in Louisville, Tennessee

The Payroll Tax Associate supports the Employment Tax Compliance team.

Main responsibilities include:

  • Process, scan and distribute mail to the team, units, Equifax, Corporate, etc.

  • Mail/Fax W-2 Reissues

  • Print and mail tax returns and team correspondence

  • Assist in managing the ‘Payroll Tax’ mailbox

  • Burns CDs as needed

  • Print and mail weekly compliance packets

  • Process F1/J1 Exemptions via QuickBase and Oracle HCM

  • Process W-2 Reissues and email work for the affected associates

  • Process IRS 'Lock-In' letters and certain FICA Exemptions

  • Daily MS Access Database backup

  • Process, distribute and/or respond to general email correspondence from client groups and individual associates

  • Miscellaneous projects assigned by the team

  • Process vendor payment invoices, create Purchase Orders for vendors and coordinate with Accounts Payable (AP)

  • Assist in overflow of associate questions, emails, voicemails and other inquiries of requests

  • Assist with the processing of 'Unemployment Verification' letters pertaining to unidentified associates / employees not found

* Please note that this role requires the majority of work to be completed onsite in Knoxville, TN.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 6 months of experience in an office administrative role

    Preferred Skills:

  • Client relationship management experience

  • Experience in communicating with stakeholders / management

  • Experience with Microsoft Suite

    Professional Skills:

  • Detail oriented and highly organized

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Excellent interpersonal skills

Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, New York or Washington as set forth below.We accept applications on an on-going basis and there is no fixed deadline to apply.

California $19.33 to $35.00

Colorado $19.33 to $30.24

New York $17.88 to $35.00

Washington $20.58 to $32.16
