The Principal Product Manager will work with members of Client Services, Product Marketing, Engineering, Architecture, and Data Science to prioritize, design, develop, and deliver new features. Responsibilities

This role requires a combination of strong communication and engagement skills, pragmatic thinking, tactical execution, and the ability to balance a challenging mix of priorities. You should have prior experience in participating in the planning and delivery of new strategic initiatives for an enterprise software product. In this position, you will work directly with the Textura Product Lead, UX, and Product Development to deliver product offerings that drive business growth. Additionally, you will serve as the primary representative for your stream both internally and externally. Engaging with internal teams, customers, and partners will be a regular part of your responsibilities.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Understand the customer and their needs and be their advocate

  • Develop and refine the vision and strategy for Textura Data Services and Analytics, ensuring alignment with client needs and Oracle's broader objectives.

  • Engage directly with clients to understand their requirements and explore new use cases for Textura data, enhancing client engagement and satisfaction.

  • Partner with Oracle's data science teams to identify and pilot new applications for machine learning and artificial intelligence within the construction and financial sectors.

  • Lead the external roadmap for product offerings, defining clear timelines and milestones for development and release.

  • Conduct in-depth market analysis to understand competitive dynamics and identify opportunities for differentiation.

  • Collaborate with client teams, product marketing, and sales teams to plan and execute comprehensive go-to-market strategies that drive awareness and adoption.

  • Represent Oracle Textura as a subject matter expert in industry forums, conferences, and presentations, enhancing the product's visibility and thought leadership.

  • Lead quarterly planning and monitor progress during sprints. Resolve with stakeholder input any ambiguities and conflicts with other existing or new functionality.

  • Ensure customer-facing departments understand the changes we make to our products

  • Be subject matter experts in your product area

  • Proactively contribute to ongoing process improvement and ensure high-quality outcomes for our customers.

  • Review and contribute to user documentation as a part of our release to market processes.

Candidate Requirements

Required Skills and Experience

Essential:

  • Demonstrated expertise in product management, ideally with a focus on data services, analytics, or related fields within enterprise software.

  • Strong background in working with API, analytics, and reporting technologies, with the ability to conceptualize and articulate technical and business value propositions.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging and influencing both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Proven track record of managing complex product strategies and go-to-market functions within a large organization.

  • Robust analytical skills, with comfort in handling data-driven decision-making processes.

  • Bachelor’s or higher degree in Computer Science, or a related technical field.

  • At least 7 years of experience in product management, with significant exposure to enterprise software products.

  • Ability and willingness to travel 20-25% of the time to meet with customers, partners, and internal teams.

Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only

US: Hiring Range: from $87,600 to $199,500 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

  8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.

  10. Paid sick leave: 72 hours of paid sick leave upon date of hire. Refreshes each calendar year. Unused balance will carry over each year up to a maximum cap of 112 hours.
