Summary of Role:

Monitor the performance of systems, processes hardware, network, and software to take corrective actions and make improvements using the System Center Operational Manager.

Essential Responsibilities:

Monitor the performance of systems, processes hardware, network, and software to take corrective actions and make improvements using the System Center Operational Manager. Perform Network Administration through network setup, periodic checks, analysis, and implementation of fault-tolerant systems configuring Stablenet Monitoring tool. Coordinate the design, development, and maintenance of one or more of the processes and related procedures within the ITSM lifecycle. Leverage Advantest and Teradyne automation tools to create robust automated process integration through. ServiceNow and other system applications. Perform gap analysis using Six Sigma Lean concepts and document AS-IS process documentation, perform value streamline mapping, and eliminate the waste. Customize ServiceNow applications, facilitate the rollout of new applications and modules, and configure Application UI and Configure Workflow. Assist with the development of test scripts and coordinate test efforts for post-sprint testing, UAT, and regression testing. Translate customer metric and KPI requirements into ServiceNow reports and dashboards utilizing a combination of out of box reporting and ServiceNow Performance Analytics tools. Consolidate monitoring tools and standardize the event management process across GFIT: integrate monitoring tools with ServiceNow to auto-trigger critical alerts, timely response to alerts, and provide 24/7 support to ensure minimal downtime of IT infrastructure and critical business applications of GlobalFoundries IT. Installation of the operating system and core applications. Inject drivers to the SOE Images.

Other Responsibilities:

  • Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements, and programs.

Required Qualifications:

  • Education – Three or four year bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Applications, Computer Science, or related field.

  • Requires minimum 5 years of experience in the job offered or as IT Analyst/Consultant, Network Administrator, or a related occupation. 5 years of experience must include all of the following: (1) ITIL; (2) Six Sigma; (3) RCA Methodologies; (4) ServiceNow; (5) Anaplan; (6) Llamasoft; (7) PowerShell ISE; (8) Teradyne; (9) Microsoft BI, Microsoft PowerAutomate, Microsoft Project, or Microsoft Visio; (10) System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) current branch; (11) and System Center Operations Manager (SCOM) OP5 Monitoring.

Salary range: $108,986 – $127,100

Expected Salary Range

Salary range: $108,986 – $127,100
