About the Job

In this role, the Ultrasound Lead, is responsible for the US technologist staff coordination, directing, and implementing of the patient care delivery of US procedures in the section of their management designate. Works in conjunction with the Director of Medical Imaging services and Radiologist. In addition, will plan the work flow and employee schedule within the department. Provides various lead functions within the department while providing support and guidance to staff.

Here's what you'll need

Required:

  • Associate degree or bachelor's degree

  • Specific Degree(s): AAS in a Radiology or Sonographer program

  • 3-5 years of previous job-related experience- Medical Imaging

  • Ability to lead a team

Licensure/Certifications

Required:

  • Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (ARDMS)

  • CPR from the American Heart Association only
