About the Role
As a Test Engineer End of Line (EOL), you will be part of the plant production team, consisting of several experienced technicians. After a successful training period during which you learn the test requirements of vehicles, you will train future employees on work instructions, test procedures, quality & safety requirements as well as develop EOL test procedures.
Your Responsibilities
Lead by example with focus on world class manufacturing
Assist and train operators to fulfill activities in line with work instructions
Troubleshoot automotive systems using electrical schematics
Maintain the management of test facility planning, purchasing and utilization for end-of-line
Perform system and component level validation testing for autonomous vehicles
Develop instrumentation and data acquisition configurations to ensure high quality results
Analyze test data, write test reports and release them for publication
Support the development of end-of-line testing process
Work together with the engineering in regards to quality & process
Recommend suggestions to improve process, product, quality & safety
Support continuous improvement activities during the production launch phase
Who we are looking for
Bachelor’s degree in mechanical/electrical engineering or any related field
Experience in testing, manufacturing, troubleshooting or applications in the automotive industry
Ability to read and work with electrical schematics
Excellent computer knowledge and skills, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Google Suite
Basic knowledge of any programming language (e.g.. C#/C++, Java, Python etc.)
Fluent in English
Willingness to travel for training
Your preferred qualifications
First-hand experience as team leader and/or test engineer in an assembly environment in the automotive industry
Ability to define problems, collect data, establishing facts & report concerns to your production supervisor
Strong willingness to learn and develop constantly
