Robert Half Assistant Property Manager in Minneapolis, Minnesota

Description

As an Assistant Property Manager, you'll collaborate closely with our client’s Area Manager to ensure the seamless operation of a diverse portfolio of properties within specific markets. Your pivotal role involves a blend of administrative prowess, operational finesse, and tenant relations expertise. If you're passionate about maintaining high standards of property management and fostering positive tenant experiences, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the day-to-day management of property portfolio, executing a wide array of administrative and operational tasks with precision and efficiency.

  • Work hand-in-hand with the Area Manager to develop and manage annual and monthly budgets, oversee vendor relationships, and coordinate construction projects to ensure timely completion and adherence to quality standards.

  • Cultivate positive relationships with tenants through regular communication, prompt resolution of concerns, and a commitment to delivering exceptional service.

  • Handle invoice processing and ensure timely payment of monthly maintenance bills for designated markets.

  • Implement best practices to optimize property operations, emphasizing efficiency, maintenance excellence, and superior customer service delivery.

  • Supervise vendor activities and contracts, maintaining meticulous documentation, obtaining insurance certificates, and nurturing strong partnerships.

  • Keep tenants informed about scheduled and unscheduled maintenance work, efficiently managing the work order system to address requests and issues promptly.

    Requirements

Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of experience providing support, preferably in a commercial property management environment.

  • Proficiency in MS Word, Outlook, Excel, and Yardi software is required.

  • Ability to provide direction and oversight while maintaining a collaborative team spirit.

  • Dedication to delivering outstanding customer service is a core competency.

  • Exceptional communication and organizational skills are highly desired.

  • Reliable transportation is required.
