This role is specifically aimed toward understanding and negotiating contracts that arise out of our combined Operations and our Wealth, Corporate, Commercial, and Institutional Banking business lines. Top 2 MUST HAVE skills: Experience reviewing / understanding / negotiating contracts. Ability to understand proposals and make recommendations Preferred Skills: - JD or MBA Vendor management Banking industry experience. Contracts Analyst Summary: Our Enterprise Procurement Partners team is looking for a strategic sourcing team member to join us. Our team negotiates contracts with various vendors that range from the largest technology and financial services giants to small start-ups. We are looking for someone to manage vendor negotiations to achieve savings while not losing sight of long term, strategic goals. In this role, you will work with leaders throughout U.S. Bank as well as outside vendors and consultants. You will review, negotiate, and manage contracts, assist with strategic sourcing (i.e. RFPs, RFQs, RFIs, etc.) and financial planning, and work on project-based initiatives.
