Description We are seeking a seasoned Creative Director to spearhead our team in the Printing/Publishing industry, located in Minneapolis, Minnesota, United States. This role will require a strategic and imaginative leader, with a passion for crafting engaging, children-themed seasonal consumer products. The ideal candidate will possess a strong ability to guide and inspire a creative team to produce superior output in line with business objectives.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the creative process from conceptualization to completion, ensuring high-quality output.

• Develop and enhance strategies for the creative team, motivating them to achieve superior results.

• Supervise the creative team to ensure their projects are completed to the highest standard.

• Manage and foster the career development of staff members, including designers, illustrators, and copywriters.

• Create engaging and innovative design concepts to captivate consumers in the children's product market.

• Present strategies and creative work to clients, ensuring alignment with their vision and goals.

• Collaborate closely with product development, marketing, and sales teams to create a cohesive vision that aligns with business strategies.

• Utilize skills in storytelling through illustrations, concept development, and creative execution.

• Lead the creative execution of both traditional and digital illustrations using Adobe Creative Suite.

• Ensure the maintenance of brand awareness and consistency across all creative projects. Requirements • Proven experience in a Creative Director role within the Printing/Publishing industry

• Extensive knowledge and proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Adobe InDesign

• Demonstrated ability in creating and promoting brand awareness

• Strong background in various design processes, including cartoon illustration and graphic design

• Ability to effectively use design packages for diverse projects

• Excellent leadership and team management skills

• Strong communication and presentation skills

• Proficient in developing innovative, creative and effective solutions for complex design challenges

• Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines

• Bachelor's degree in Design, Art or related field would be advantageous

• Adept at coordinating with various stakeholders, including clients and team members, to ensure the successful execution of design projects.
