Responsible for writing, communicating, synthesizing, presenting, and strategically roadmapping technical product design and requirements. This position also identifies dependencies in complex systems, works closely with customers in eliciting and synthesizing needs, helps inform product roadmaps, and develops solutions of value and impact for the company. Specific duties include: Adapt our hospitality-oriented technology product to an evolving market and customer base. Design products and write requirements for product enhancements as we expand our solution into existing and emerging markets. Champion innovation within specific product domains by informing and driving future product changes. Collaborate across multiple teams internally and externally on identifying needs, understanding systems, and designing solutions in order to integrate systems. Be a primary resource with the broader team in areas of the product / industry - specifically within the hospitality industry, our mobile apps, and research and development in ML/NLP. Contribute to strategic planning efforts within specific product domains as our company matures, adds new features, and enters into new markets. Create and present detailed and strategic presentations for customers to inform and guide product development. Communicate effectively on high level technical concepts with technical and non-tech audiences by translating technical implications to impact on users and vic versa. Contribute to sprint planning and roadmap planning to ensure top priority needs are being executed. Identify dependencies, evaluate risks, proactively communicate, and be held accountable to the progress and communication around product design within their domain.
