Position Summary

Leads the development effort by conveying the vision to a Delivery Team, outlining and prioritizing work based on business value. Liaises with stakeholders ensuring their interests are included in the release, and the team to ensure the release is developed by the deadline. Responsible for the business aspects of the project, including ensuring the right product is being built, in the right order. Serves as the Delivery Team's primary contact for information, work prioritization, and decision-making.

Responsibilities

  • Manages experienced professionals who exercise independent discretion and/or manages a functional area or process that may or may not have direct reports.

  • Implements policy and strategy for short-term results and influences others outside of own job area regarding policies, practices, and procedures

  • Decision making is guided by strategic objectives of specialization

  • Influences others outside of own job area regarding policies, practices and procedures

  • Must be able to communicates with executive leadership

  • Supports relationships through strong communication and negotiation skills with internal and external stakeholders

  • Collaborating with business teams to understand and anticipate their needs and translate them into epics, features, user stories & enablers.

  • Collaborate with Product manager and delivery lead to create a product road map based on this vision.

  • Developing user stories. Need experience working with end users and cross functional teams and translate business requirements into actionable user stories.

  • Managing the product backlog and prioritizing them.

  • Overseeing all stages of product creation including design and development.

  • Collaborate with the system architects for design. Provide inputs and clarifications to acceptance criteria. Follow up with data engineering team or other technical teams and remove any roadblocks and address any dependencies.

  • Establish a process to drive continuous improvements & monitoring.

  • Monitoring and evaluating product progress at each stage of the process.

  • Liaising with the product team and end-users to deliver updates.

  • Participating in Scrum meetings and product sprints. Present the plan during the PI planning as well as sprint planning meetings. Identify risks and address them in timely manner.

  • Should have knowledge of order management, de‐ livery receipt management, invoicing, disputes, and warranty processes.

  • Should have experience in retail, and the backend systems to run a retail operation.

  • Will be focused and responsible on standing up a retail technical shop management system with multiple streams of work to manage.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree; 8 years of relevant experience including 3-5 years management or direct/indirect leadership experience

  • Or Master's degree; 4+ years of relevant experience including 2-4 years management or direct/indirect leadership experience

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Experience with AGILE way of working

  • Typically requires a minimum of 8 years of related experience with a bachelor’s degree; or 6 years and a master’s degree; or a PhD with 3 years of experience; or equivalent work experience

  • SAP ERP preferred
