Cumberland Hospital for Children and Adolescents is a unique acute care, inpatient specialty hospital with 110 licensed beds, including Med Surg. and Residential Treatment Center; staffed by the finest physicians and treatment teams. We treat patients, ages 2-22 who have chronic illnesses, brain injuries and neurobehavioral disorders with co-behavioral issues.

Essential Job Duties:

  • Performs repairs and preventive maintenance on hospital systems and equipment.

  • Monitors, tests, inspects and performs other assigned tasks in support of utility management program.

  • Inspects, services and schedules maintenance in support of the hospital's vehicle fleet.

  • Performs assigned duties to maintain and upkeep hospital buildings and grounds.

    Qualifications

    Qualifications:

  • General maintenance knowledge and skills demonstrated in previous E xperience.

    Education:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.

    Licensure:

  • Current Virginia driver's licensure with a good driving record.

    Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to meet the basic health requirements of the hospital without restrictions

  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds without assistance.

  • Weights above 50 pounds are to be done with assistance.

  • Must possess physical stamina to shift, lift and move equipment and supplies.

  • Position requires dexterity, good vision, ability to walk, stoop, bend, push and pull .
