"Our Fortune 500, CPG/Retail Client is looking for an Emerging Technology & Innovation Manager to support their digital engineering team.Onsite, 3 days (Tues, Weds, Thurs.), Piscataway, NJ, 25% travel requiredThe Emerging Technology & Innovation Manager you will lead technological innovation and drive digital transformation across firm operations You will scout, evaluate, and implement cutting-edge technologies, streamlining processes to enhance the firm's competitive edge. Emerging Technology & Innovation Manager Responsibilities:- Monitor emerging technologies, startups, and industry trends - Conduct in-depth technology assessments to pinpoint opportunities for innovation.- Spearhead innovation projects from the ground up- Identify and vet digital platforms and tools that support business goals and improve employee engagement- Implement and optimize digital workflows and automation solutions to increase operational efficiency and reduce overhead.- Foster cross-functional collaboration to expand and refine the use of existing digital tools (e.g., Agumentir, Teamwork).- Seek opportunities for cost-effective automation using IoT devices to streamline tasks.- Design and deploy innovative, budget-friendly automation solutions to boost efficiency and cut costs.- Explore and define AI applications across various business areas to enhance decision-making, customer experience, and predictive analytics.- Facilitate the adoption of AI technologies to improve operational efficiency and insights.Required Qualifications:- Bachelor's or Master's (Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.)- At least 5 years of experience- Manufacturing background, a plusSoftwares:- Strong technological proficiency, including familiarity with programming (e.g., Google Appscript, Python, SQL), data analytics (e.g., DOMO, Tableau, Looker Studio), and IoT architecture solutions like MQTT communication protocol Misc.
