MUFG Front Office Developer, Associate Vice President in New York, New York

The selected colleague will work at an MUFG office or client sites four days per week and work remotely one day. A member of our recruitment team will provide more details.

Front Office Developer with Java will be responsible for developing and supporting front office components and applications.

Responsibilities

•Develop and supporting components and applications primarily using Java, Python and ION libraries

•Work with vendors and technology teams to resolve issues around platform availability, stp, price, and feeds (trade, position, price)

•Testing and deployment of new platforms and functionality

•Integrate vendor platforms with MUFG systems

•Document workflows in Visio, Word and Wiki

Skills and Experience

•Strong communication skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

•2-5 years Java development including multi-threading

•1-3 years ION experience

•Prior experience supporting front office trading business

•Ability to work independently and learn quickly

•Hands-on knowledge of Windows and Unix/Linux OS and scripting (sh, ksh, bash, bat)

Desirable skills:

•Knowledge of Fixed Income regulatory reporting, including TRACE

•Hands-on knowledge of the Relational and/or No-SQL (Oracle, Sybase, MongoDB, etc) is a plus

•JavaScript and or Web development framework

•Knowledge of Excel functions and macros

•Knowledge of Fixed Income workflow

•Experience working with mortgage products, including TBA, Pools and CMO

•ION Winfits

•Mongo Database

•Camel framework

•Spring framework

•Python

•YieldBook

•PolyPaths

Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

The typical base pay range for this role is between $110K - $135K depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience and location. This role may also be eligible for certain discretionary performance-based bonus and/or incentive compensation.
