Position Summary

Do your ears perk up at the idea of turning complex data sets into recommendations that drive better business outcomes? We are searching for a Product Owner to drive delivery of innovative, data-driven analytics products focused on in-flight optimizations. The Product Owner works closely with the Product Manager, all delivery departments, and project management teams. You will be part of the Product Team, responsible for collecting, analyzing, refining, and prioritizing product requirements, as well as working closely with the engineering team on product delivery. The right candidate is an exceptionally self-motivated problem-solver with a positive attitude and the ability to work well with a team. You have excellent communication and negotiation skills, approach situations with a win-win stance, and are a great critical thinker. Prior experience in product is a must. Prior technical background is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Be the overall responsible person for the product delivery.
  • Define and drive the implementation and delivery of short to medium-term vision for the product.
  • Partner with the Product Manager to plan the product roadmap, manage the product backlog, feature development, and prioritize user stories to balance internal & external demands with available resources.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, users, design, data scientists, and development team to define, build, and review the product.
  • Work with Product Manager to break large product ideas down into features and stories for engineering team. Have ownership over User Stories and Acceptance Criteria.
  • Work closely with the Engineering team to refine and clarify User Stories & Acceptance Criteria, guiding the team and addressing any implementation questions as needed.
  • Manage scrum team towards a healthy balance of innovation, technical debt reduction, and day to day maintenance and support

Required Skills & Experience

  • Experience as a product owner or product manager, preferably in the digital advertising/marketing space. Proven success in launching scalable technology platform features with meaningful outcomes.
  • Experience working with business users/SMEs to gather product requirements and convert them into clear and detailed stories that serve to inform and guide engineering work.
  • Hands-on experience and strong proficiency in Agile Scrum methodologies and product management principles
  • Experience with data-driven, analytics products and a demonstrated ability to solve complex problems
  • Experience thriving in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. Results-driven with the ability to anticipate needs, innovate, and handle multiple complex projects. Nimble and flexible with regards to changing priorities and business needs.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to inspire and motivate others across the company. Collaborative, enthusiastic, and hands-on team player.
  • Experience working with distributed teams.

Desired Skills & Experience
  • Experience with advertising technologies (i.e. DSPs, Ad Exchanges, SSPs, Ad Servers, Publishers/Networks, etc.) and knowledge of digital marketing.
  • Exposure to machine learning or artificial intelligence concepts.
  • Ideally 3+ years as a Product Owner
  • Comfortable working with data scientists & data engineers to productize models.

Salary Range
$130,000-$150,000 USD
