Amazon Senior Program Manager, DSP Change Management - Americas in New York, New York

Description

We are looking for a Senior Program Manager who will lead the integration and launch of programs to our Delivery Service Partners (DSPs) and their Delivery Associates (DAs). This includes the DSP program. Amazon is growing its network of DSPs who own and operate successful package delivery businesses. This individual will play an integral role in helping Amazon ensure the success of the DSP network by partnering with multiple program teams such as Last Mile Tech and DSP Product & Strategy who are launching programs, products, and processes to DSPs. The role will partner closely with a broad set of stakeholders to operationalize multiple high-profile, high-impact business initiatives.

The candidate must be able to manage multiple large-scale, cross-functional projects, outline key milestones, and ensure deliverables are met. This role also requires communicating to senior management on program status, risks, and mitigation recommendations.

This is not an operations role.

Key job responsibilities

  • Drive Value Added Services and DSP/DA Tech-related program objectives – operationalize launch plans by ensuring stakeholders are aligned to program details and business requirements, manage implementation activities across large group of stakeholders, and develop and execute launch plans of new products and processes.

  • Scale services, tools, and processes that will enable the business’ growth in volume, complexity, and geographic dispersion while still maintaining a high bar for the customer experience.

  • Identify, assess and mitigate risks, drive resolution of critical issues, provide escalation management, anticipate and make tradeoffs and propose corrective actions to keep initiatives moving forward.

  • Collaborate and build relationships with cross functional teams to identify the impact of new fleet initiatives and successfully integrate and deploy them, ensuring seamless execution and process excellence.

  • Develop clear and thorough program/process launch announcements for impacted internal and external stakeholders, including program announcement, FAQs, and program resource guides.

  • Relentlessly advocate for DSPs and strive to simplify and improve their experience and that of their drivers.

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of program or project management experience

  • Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements

  • Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership

  • Change Management Experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2+ years of driving process improvements experience

  • Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $92,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
