Honeywell Test Engineer I in Norcross, Georgia

As a Test Engineer I here at Honeywell, you will be responsible for conducting testing activities on various products and systems to ensure their functionality and performance. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop test plans, execute tests, analyze test results, and provide recommendations for improvements. This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

You will report directly to our Test Engineering Manager and you'll work out of our Norcross, GA location on a hybrid work schedule.

In this role, you will impact the quality and reliability of our products by ensuring that they meet the required standards and specifications. You will contribute to the continuous improvement of our testing processes and help drive innovation in our product development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute test plans and procedures for various products and systems.

  • Conduct functional, performance, and qualification testing.

  • Provide factory support for production programs at the Norcross facility.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product quality and reliability.

U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS

Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status or have the ability to obtain an export authorization

YOU MUST HAVE

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or other engineering discipline.

  • Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.

WE VALUE

  • Experience in conducting functional, performance, and reliability testing.

  • Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to testing (DO-160G, MIL-STD-810, MIL-STD-461).

  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills

  • Basic computer skills (Visio, Word, Excel, MS Project)

  • Experience with RF laboratory test equipment (Spectrum Analyzer, Signal Generator, Network Analyzer)

  • Ability to travel (up to 20%)
