Duties: Ensuring the technical success of customers in their use of company software, Simcenter 3D, and Nastran. Working closely with customers to understand their mechanical engineering workflow. Proposing solutions and best practices to help clients meet their objectives and improve their engineering processes. Providing classroom training, mentoring, and direct customer support. Collaborating with the sales organization to discover opportunities to grow usage within accounts and engage the customer. Communicating interdepartmentally in a fastpaced and client-facing environment. Providing feedback to design engineers on customer problems or needs. Providing technical customer service. Conferring with engineers or other personnel to implement operating procedures, resolve system malfunctions, and provide technical information. Assist drafters in developing the structural design of products using Siemens CAE software. Solicit new business via support functions.

Requirements : The employer will accept a Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Mechanical Engineering or related field and 36 months of experience in the job offered, as an Engineer, or in a related occupation. The position requires experience in the following: Working with structural FEA, including non-linear, static and dynamic analysis; Working with fatigue analysis and fracture mechanics; Working with NX CAD software; Working with Simcenter Nastran; Performing structural analysis, dynamic forced response, advanced nonlinear, superelement components, design optimization, topology-optimization, steady-state, and transient thermal analysis; Assisting with common design processes, objectives, and constraints in aerospace and turbomachinery. 20% domestic travel required. 90% telecommuting permitted within a commutable distance.
