Business Analyst

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 8 years business / systems analyst experience or equivalent

  • Demonstrated strong analytical and problem solving skills; strategic thinker

  • Demonstrated strong partnering, negotiating and consensus building skills

  • Demonstrated strong written, verbal communication and interpersonal skills as well as facilitation experience

  • Demonstrated experience in business analysis on large complex projects or varying project types

  • Proven experience in eliciting requirements and acceptance criteria in agile projects. Demonstrated experience in

  • Demonstrated knowledge of Agile Methodologies including the writing of user stories, acceptance criteria, elicitation, documentation and managing requirements over the software development life cycle.

  • Experienced in SCRUM/KANBAN/LEAN, and project planning at a sprint and iteration level

  • Demonstrated proficiency in basic office productivity software and tools (MS Word, Excel, Visio, etc.)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Understanding of various lines of business within the timeshare industry.

  • Understanding of mortgage processing, reservation booking and management, and loans and dues accounting practices.

  • Effective engagement and collaboration with a diverse set of clients, partners and senior level stakeholders with the ability to articulate their business needs into capabilities

  • Knowledgeable of financial budgeting and forecasting

  • Demonstrated understanding of value driven business results and metrics

  • Certification of Competency in Business Analysis (CCBA) certification and/or Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) certification

Required Education

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent
