Position Summary

As a Project Manager, you will be part of an international team, acting on Global strategic projects for the Procurement function. Your main role will be to accelerate performance and organizational efficiency on critical projects as well as ensuring stakeholders expectations are being met and resources are being optimized.

Procurement at Nestlé:

A day in the life of a PPA Project Manager :

Project Management:

• Lead 6 to 12 months strategic projects for all spend categories (raw materials, packaging, technical, and services), across all geographical zones and with all Nestlé Business Units.

• Collect project requirements and meet with core project team members on a regular base.

• Manage project schedules, updating project documentation, determining priorities of tasks, and ensuring their timely delivery.

• Define and develop global Procurement strategies with our category leaders & managers.

Analytics:

• Prepare analytical solutions to bring visibility on opportunities to improve sustainability, cost efficiency, and ensure supply.

• Proactively use benchmark, raise constructive challenge, and find innovative solutions to support our stakeholders in developing strong sourcing strategies.

• Support the implementation of business solutions and analyze its benefits for the business.

Communication and Stakeholder Management:

• Develop relationships and set governances with stakeholders to plan and deliver the defined objectives in common projects.

• Communicate on projects at all levels of the organization including senior management.

• Create synergies with other members of your team across the 3 procurement hubs in Malaysia, Panama and Switzerland.

What makes you successful?

• University degree in Procurement, Business Administration, Supply Chain and/or Engineering or related field.

• 8+ years of experience in procurement (strategic category), consulting, business analytics, or project management.

• Proven track record in working in complex organizations, and leading cross-functional projects at a global level.

• Experience in influencing and aligning with key internal stakeholders across multiple geographies and business units.

• Strong influencing, interpersonal and communication skills.

• Proven experience of organizational, presentation, multitasking, and leadership skills.

• Excellent project management skills.

• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite particularly Excel and Power Point, Power BI is a plus.

• Fluency in English, any other language is an asset.
