Macquarie Associate Director of Risk in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

Join us as an Associate Director of Risk and be a part of the team that provides risk guidance on new products, business initiatives and implementing a strong risk management framework, including assessing the design and operational effectiveness of critical risk controls. In this role you will cover Risk Management across the Macquarie Asset Management Equities and Multi-asset, Fixed Income and Leveraged Credit divisions. You will lead the Operational Risk function across the Americas and drive the implementation and development of the risk strategy for the public markets business in Macquarie Asset Management, covering Equities & Multi-asset, Fixed income and Leveraged Credit. You will be an integral senior leader in the Americas Operational Risk function and provide support to Senior Leadership in managing and monitoring Macquarie's risk framework. You will oversee the design and delivery of the Risk controls assurance program, portfolio of projects, incident management, and implementation of overall operational risk management framework elements. You will also participate in global risk management activities and initiatives, leading these where required. What you offer At least 15 years' experience developing and / or leading non-financial risk management frameworks.

Experience in US Investment Management industry, including regulated 40 Act funds and other vehicles subject to Federal securities rules and regulations

Strong understanding of business control environments and technology through prior risk management or equivalent roles. Team leadership and senior stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to initiate and lead conversations with senior leaders.
