DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES: JOB DESCRIPTION * Assist management in the preparation of monthly, quarterly and year- end financial statements and reporting related to Reinsurance operations in accordance with GAAP policies. * Prepare, record and compile journal voucher entries using PeopleSoft and Genius platforms. * Support analysis of general ledger account balances, including cash, investments, intercompany and Reinsurer accounts. * Provide accounting support in the analysis of foreign currency fluctuations across the balance sheet. * Support the reconciliation and maintenance of collateral instruments related to third party Reinsurance balances. * Assist in preparation of plan and forecast models. * Participate in special projects including testing of system related changes.

QUALIFICATIONS * Detail oriented with strong organizational skills * Excellent analytical and problem solving skills * Strong verbal and communication skills * Proficiency in Excel * Accounting or Finance major preferred
