Director, Global Rights and Partners

About the Role

In this role you will support the Senior Vice President, Global Rights & Partners. Managing and developing strategic partnerships including publishing partners, third party platforms, data licensing, document delivery and rights organizations. The estimated revenue responsibility is $50 Million.

Responsibilities

  • Contributing to the development of the commercial strategy for global rights and partners.

  • Strengthening relationships with our commercial partners, looking for opportunities to add value and create additional revenue.

  • Supporting contract negotiations; identify commercial viability for complex business models. (Both existing and new partnerships).

  • Developing and implementing strategic plans for key partnerships. Acting as liaison between internal and external customers.

  • Driving quarterly business reviews with partners at a senior level.

  • Uncovering new opportunities for third party and data licensing.

  • Working with product management to understand market opportunities for data licensing and third-party platforms partnerships.

  • Collaborating with finance & sales to create financial forecasts, conduct analyses, and report metrics to senior leadership. Enabling sales alignment to capitalize on third party opportunities.

Requirements

  • Have a depth of experience in partnership and sales. Coupled with commercial experience and knowledge of the Scientific Technical Medical market.

  • Experience in data and content licensing is valued.

  • Have a proven track record of identifying and developing multiple strategic alliances to drive revenue growth.

  • Experience working successfully in a Fortune 100 corporation and matrix environment.

  • Have a secondary, accredited education. Additional Education, or relevant working experience is valued.

  • Display exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.

  • Able to travel (30% approximate).
