HOW WILL YOU MAKE CHANGE HAPPEN?

The Public Sector Expect Practitioneris a strategic leadership position that will develop and grow our transportation practice. North Highland's public sector transportation focus includes transit agencies, airports, seaports, toll authorities and state Departments of Transportation. The individual will have multiple responsibilities that include business development, quality assurance of services, as well as client delivery and project management.

YOU WILL:

Preparing and executing a focused business plan and strategy to grow business and provide high quality services to North Highland clients

Meet with and present to senior executives and public officials

Lead proposal teams in response to competitive procurements

Prepare budgets, cost estimates and staffing plans for client projects

Oversee transportation projects in the region and provide Quality Assurance to ensure a high level of service and overall client expectations are being met

Provide Project Management and client delivery for selected projects

Prepare oral and written reports to senior North Highland management

Support NH efforts to further define our 'transportation story' and contribute to the marketing team

Work with local North Highland offices to position transportation service offerings in the marketplace

Participate in other North Highland national initiatives as required

Develop and maintain contacts for partnership opportunities

Track, manage and report on project performance metrics and trends IDEALLY, WE'D LIKE:

Minimum of 7 years of experience working with one or more of the following public sector agencies: Departments of Transportation, Transit Agencies, Airports, Seaports and Toll Authorities

Preparing and executing a business plan

Proven ability to operate at C-level within large public sector organizations

Experience of leading the formulation and application of a strategy

Deep understanding of the public sector transportation industry key policies

Understands, explains and ability to present complex technical and business ideas to both technical and non-technical audience at all levels in a persuasive and convincing manner

Ability to work across a portfolio of projects and programs to create an integrated way forward which meets the long-term needs of the business

An ability to work well under pressure in a rapidly evolving environment

Excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills at senior management level

Experience of managing people in a complex business environment

Strong public sector focus and financially astute

Bachelor's degree from accredited University
