You Will...

• Own full-cycle industry recruiting for your business function(s), including Learning & Curriculum, Accounting and Finance, Legal, etc.

• Partner with hiring managers to understand current and upcoming needs and priorities

• Lead and inspire the candidate experience; collaborate with internal interview teams to train, advise, and deliver a consistently distinct and positive experience that reflects Duolingo values

• Identify and deliver effective and innovative employer branding strategies

• Analyze requisition metrics and proactively drive recommendations to increase hiring efficiencies

• Track and assess industry and talent market trends and find opportunities for Duolingo to compete for high-quality talent

• Serve as an expert user of our internal recruiting tools and mentor other recruiters and coordinators

You Have...

• Minimum of a baccalaureate degree

• 5+ years of full-cycle business recruiting experience

• Demonstrable track record for authentically sourcing and growing relationships with diverse talent

• Ability to work in a fast-growing environment; passionate about getting into the details to problem solve and ensure success

• A genuine teammate with a strong desire to help others and build memorable experiences

• A high sense of accountability and dedication to delivering results with a high attention to detail and stellar time management

• Ability to navigate ambiguity and solve problems independently without sacrificing quality of work

• A can-do, team mentality -- no task is too small and you’re willing to jump in when needed!

• Flexibility and ability to travel to recruiting events, as necessary; a valid driver’s license

• Ability to work or relocate to Pittsburgh, PA

Exceptional Candidates Will Have...

• Prior experience in high-growth startup environments

• Data-driven mentality and expertise balancing efficiency and quality

• Experience bringing organization to teams and streamlining processes

• Experience using tools like Textio and Gem

• Strong understanding of Talent Acquisition standards and processes, as well as basic Marketing principles

We invest in and support our Duos! This role is eligible for a robust compensation package of base salary, equity, and Duolingo’s world-class benefits. The starting base salary range for this role is, $102,000 - $210,000. Actual salary may vary based on level, work experience, performance, and other factors evaluated during the hiring process.
