BlackBox Junior Recruiter (Onsite) in PLANO, Texas
Our Junior Recruiter will play a pivotal role within Talent Acquisition by providing sourcing, screening, and administrative support for Recruiters, Agencies Partners, Candidates, and Hiring Managers. Location: Black Box Headquarters in Plano, TX. Standard Support hours 8:00-5:00pm CT.
Position Details:
Hourly position based upon experience & skill level
Long term contract with possible extension(s) or hire
Standard support hours: Mon-Fri 8:00am-5:00pm CT (OT as necessary)
Location - Onsite - 2701 Dallas Pkwy Suite # 510 Plano, TX 75093
Key Responsibilities:
Screen candidate submissions
Organize and confirm virtual, phone, and in-person interviews for Recruiters, Agency Partners, and Hiring Managers
Post full-time jobs on multiple job boards and sites, ensuring accurate company branding
Update applicant tracking system on a regular basis
Update Smartsheets & Excel spreadsheets with a high degree of accuracy
Source for candidates on job boards such as Indeed and LinkedIn
Pull reporting and create Excel spreadsheets as requested
Assist with Recruiting administrative tasks and special projects as needed
Requirements:
1 year of recruiting experience or related experience as a Project Coordinator
2 years’ experience working in a high-volume, fast-paced business environment
Proven success in screening and sourcing candidates for open opportunities
Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint)
Experience working within Applicant Tracking Systems
Experience working within Smartsheets (preferred)
Experience using job boards such as Indeed and LinkedIn
Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task
Proven ability to work independently
Takes initiative
Polished written/verbal communication skills
Physical Demands:
The team member will be regularly required to sit, stand, walk, talk, hear, and reach using feet, legs, back, arms and hands.
Specific vision requirements include the ability to use close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
The team member will be required to work at a personal computer.
Must possess the ability to detect auditory and/or visual alarms and be available to work extended/flexible hours and weekends as needed.
