This is where you can make an impact "Join Baxter's Agile Revolution! We're on the lookout for an experienced Scrum Master to lead our software development teams to success! As a seasoned Agile leader, you'll be responsible for fostering an agile mindset and guiding our engineers to inspect, adapt, and improve within a growing medical device development organization. What you'll be doing: As a key member of our small team of agilists, you'll have the opportunity to influence the larger organization while actively serving one or more software development teams as Scrum Master. You'll be empowered to: Influence and implement changes in a growing organization, shaping the future of our software development processes. Employ best practices in project estimation to compile and communicate realistic schedules, adapting to changing project needs with ease. Lead cross-functional development teams as Scrum Master, priming them for success and ensuring smooth collaboration across Systems, Hardware, and distributed teams. Groom project backlogs, prioritizing tasks and coordinating with stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery of high-quality software. Plan and complete quarterly iteration planning, ensuring our teams are aligned and ready to tackle the challenges of the ever-evolving medical device development landscape. Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and resolve inter-functional dependencies, ensuring smooth project delivery and maximum value for our customers. Leverage your experience as an administrator for JIRA (or similar) to streamline our agile project coordination processes. Bring your passion for software quality and agile methodologies to the table, advocating for best practices and driving continuous improvement. Solve complex problems and resolve conflicts with ease, leveraging your strong mediation skills to keep our teams aligned and focused on success. Take ownership of your work, and be ready to dive into the details when needed, while also keeping a bird's eye view of our agile development processes. Collaborate with our embedded device development and regulated industry experts to ensure compliance and maximum value for our customers. Bring your experience in setting up JIRA (or simular) workflows to the table, and be ready to help our teams optimize their workflows for maximum efficiency. What you'll bring: Bachelor's degree or greater, with 8+ years of experience and 5+ years as a Scrum Master or Agile leader. A solid tec nical understanding of software engineering principles and practices, including SDLC, IEC 62304, CMMI, and Agile. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to discuss technical and project management issues with both technical and non-technical collaborators. A passion for solving complex problems and resolving conflicts, with a track record of success in driving continuous improvement and empowering cross-functional teams. A growth mindset, with a willingness to learn and adapt in a constantly evolving medical device development landscape. We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. The estimated base salary for this position is $112,000 to $154,000 annually. The estimated range is meant to reflect an anticipated salary range for the position. We may pay more or less than of the anticipated range based upon market data and other factors, all of which are subject to change. Individual pay is based on upon location, skills and expertise, experience, and other relevant factors. This position may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
