Siemens Digital Industries Software is looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented individual with a strategic mindset to join the Strategy organization. This position will have dual role, one; build, and manage business operations team supporting strategic initiatives of our SaaS business and strategy organization and two; operationalize and execution of technology partnership ecosystem strategy for Asia Pacific region.

This individual should be highly motivated to learn and grow the organization with a proven track record to thrive successfully in a complex, transitioning, SaaS technology environment, within a large organization like Siemens. In this role you will build and manage a team responsible for SaaS contracting, business process and system automation, data analytics and supporting market data models, as well as other capabilities required for the strategy organization. Work with technology partnership community and ecosystem in key regions, starting with India, and Siemens go-to-market stakeholders and provide business development and market development support to technology partnership ecosystem strategy team.

Main Responsibilities:

Define, manage, and deliver on Strategic projects and initiatives.

The Strategy organization will have multiple initiatives that are initially grouped under SaaS contract lifecycle management, business process and system automations, data aggregations & analysis, market data modeling, administrative communication, etc. You, as the team leader, will be responsible for the successful delivery of the identified initiatives.

Create and define project roadmaps and manage them for on-time delivery and adoption.

Lead the execution of defined initiatives throughout the full life cycle, addressing the significant complexity and scale challenges inherent and use of next generation technologies.

Leverage SaaS concepts and new technologies (like AI, ML) as a foundation and deliver solutions to help achieve strategy organization goals.

Maintains technical and operations excellence expertise needed to support Strategy by implementing relevant functional standards and build best practices that will help drive productivity and efficiency.

Trusted advisor and execution arm to the management

Participates with senior management to establish plans and objectives for strategic partnership enhancements.

Acts as advisor to management on advanced technical research studies and applications.

Exercises independent judgment in methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.

Contributes to development of new principles and concepts.

Works under consultative direction toward pre-determined long-range goals and objectives

Building and managing a high performing team

Develop and grow the team capabilities aligned with the Strategy organization.

Recruitment of new hires with right skillsets required to build the team.

Drive Initiatives and work assignment for the team and mange timely delivery.

Maintain team culture and motivation within the team.

Technology Partnering initiative execution.

Collaborate and define adaptability of our tech partnership strategy and execution for APAC region.

Work with local GTM leadership to execute on tech partnering strategy initiative.

Develop tech partner and developer community and motion to build partner software on Siemens Xcelerator capabilities.

Key Skills

Working across a matrix organization in a global team environment set up.

Understanding of SaaS business functions along with SaaS-related revenue recognition, commercial legal, and commercial SaaS terms.

Understanding of partnering with technology companies, channel partners that support building SaaS business.

Possess strong analytical, critical thinking, and communications skills.

Have meticulous attention to detail, project planning, and organizational skills.

Easy to work with and can build strong relationships with a broad set of stakeholders that have diverse interests.

You can juggle multiple priorities and tasks in a very fast-paced environment while remaining positive and resilient.

Qualification:

Degree in computer science/engineering or related field and preferably Master of Business Administration

10 years of overall experience with strong management background on business operations/partner GTM/commercial functions like contracting management, with 5+ years of experience working in software platform/SaaS company

Experience working with ISV or channel partnerships or partner driven operations and managing diverse team experiences to serve global organization.

Experience in creating a strong and passionate operations & support culture that is customer focused and quality driven.

Experience working in global team setup.

Ability to exhibit the strategy team’s cultural values.
