Honeywell Principal Project Engineer- Automation and Test Equipment in Redmond, Washington
As a Principal Project Engineer here at Honeywell, you will coordinate and communicate with cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration and ensuring effective project coordination. Your monitoring of project progress and adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards will help maintain project efficiency and deliver high-quality results. You will report directly to our ISC Engineering Manager and you’ll work out of our Redmond, Washington location. Specific process knowledge desired for this role: design and implementation of automated test equipment (hardware and software) in a high-volume product manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
Support Lead and manage complex engineering projects from initiation to completion
Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders
Develop and implement project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation
Coordinate and communicate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success
Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards
Identify and mitigate risks and issues that may impact project delivery
Provide technical guidance and support to project team members
Prepare and present project status reports to stakeholders
U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS
Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status or have the ability to obtain an export authorization
Salary Range- $166,000-200,000 + eligible incentives
YOU MUST HAVE
5+ years of basic digital design experience
5+ years of basic analog design experience
10+ years of station software design experience using C, C++, C#
10+ years of automated station hardware design experience
3+ years of experience with ethernet communication including DHCP and packet analysis
5+ years of basic database administration experience including tablespace, table, trigger, and index creation
5+ years of advanced SQL query definition experience
