GE Healthcare Director of Project Management - Imaging NE Region in Remote, New Jersey

Job Description Summary

The Director of Project Management (DPM) is responsible for leading and developing a team of Installation Project Managers for our Imaging business. The DPM will work cross functionally with the sales and services teams to drive the complete installation process, making it favorable for our customers.

This position will be responsible for the North East Region and candidate must reside within the region (VA, MD, DE, PA, NJ, NY, NH, VT, ME, DC, MA).

Job Description

Responsibilities :

  • Lead and develop the North East Imaging Healthcare Project Management (HPM) team.

  • Manage backlog, track installation activities, and manage key metrics of Implementation SPS, revenue recognition, cost-to-install, and department costs.

  • Manage revenue recognition process and controllership requirements for equipment revenue.

  • Handle customer escalations regarding implementation issues. Work closely with the HPM staff for project management tool and process improvements to drive customer experience and operational excellence.

  • Cultivate relationships with Field Service, Design Center, Marketing, Engineering, OPSI, Operations, and OM to ensure smooth OTR process; lead development of a highly effective customer-centric horizontal team.

  • Forecast current quarter and current quarter + 1 revenue with commercial intensity while driving On Time Installation for our customers.

  • Cultivate customer relationships to fully understand customer needs and deliver differentiated healthcare project management.

  • Responsible for team performance to HPM key performance indicators.

  • Sponsor LEAN projects tied to HPM efficiency.

  • Aware of and comply with the GEHC Quality Manual, Quality Management System, Quality Management Policy, Quality Goals, and applicable laws and regulations as they apply to this job type/position.

  • Complete all planned Quality & Compliance training within the defined deadlines.

  • Identify and report any and all customer quality or compliance concerns immediately to the Quality Organization.

  • Identify and report any personal quality or compliance concerns immediately to the Quality Organization.

  • Insure timely and accurate closure of activities in project management tools and systems.

  • Participate in continuous improvement and simplification activities by identifying and appropriately escalating process and product quality gaps, providing solutions when possible.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree and 4+ years of people leadership experience.

  • 8 years of project or program management experience.

  • 4 years customer relationship management.

  • Demonstrated ability to execute multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Demonstrated ability to meet financial targets and deliver to key performance indicators.

  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication (oral and written) skills.

  • Proven ability to lead in a matrixed environment and develop horizontal teams.

Desired Skills:

  • MBA, Master's Degree, or higher level education.

  • PMP certified or equivalent.

  • MyProjects and/or Workbench experience.

  • Demonstrated familiarity with Imaging & LCS equipment.

  • Previous healthcare experience.

  • Proven leadership and ability to orchestrate resources and motivate teams.

  • Previous experience with GEHC products and services.

  • Military experience.

For U.S. based positions only, the pay range for this position is $134,640.00-$201,960.00 Annual. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the pay range and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including skills, qualifications, experience and location. In addition, this position may also be eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI).
