JOB SUMMARY

The Learning Consultant 2 helps the accomplishment of Baylor Scott & White Health' s strategic priorities by planning, designing, developing, implementing, delivering, facilitating, and evaluating learning and development programs.

SALARY

The pay range for this position is $31.26 (entry-level qualifications) - $54.63 (highly experienced) The specific rate will depend upon the successful candidate’s specific qualifications and prior experience.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE ROLE

  • Takes the lead on consulting with clients, stakeholders, and subject matter experts to know about and clarify needs and appropriate interventions and scope.

  • Takes the lead with planning, designing, developing, implementing, and delivering standard and customized learning solutions throughout BSWH focusing on strategic initiatives, in alignment with Learning & Development (L&D) strategy to enhance personal and organizational effectiveness and satisfy clients. This work will be done in alignment with other related work in L&D, so on partner and not conflict/duplicate other L&D efforts.

  • Selects and applies appropriate teaching aids and learning materials to help standard and customized programs to meet business and client needs, through the use of adult learning best practices.

  • Manages complex projects dealing with the planning of learning and development programs on core leadership competencies for general leadership population to meet personal and organizational needs.

  • Facilitates high level, strategic learning engagements to improve leaders' success.

  • Collects assessment and client feedback data; examines with team to establish effectiveness of learning and development solutions; uses feedback and evaluation data to improve offerings.

  • Works with L&D team to apply continuous improvement processes to ensure quality learning and development interventions and services based on evaluation, feedback, and business needs.

  • Consults with managers in workshops to improve their leadership effectiveness.

  • Designs and implements training needs assessments, return on investment (ROI) studies, and customized learning programs for strategic initiatives with managers across the system.

  • Performs other position appropriate duties as required in a competent, professional, and courteous way.

  • Experience in a corporate environment with working knowledge of operations, communications, and human resources.

  • Excellent communications (both oral and written), training, computer, and social skills.

  • Excellent planning, management, and organizational skills.

  • Knowledgeable about staff engagement strategies and best practices.

  • Ability to work cross-functionally as a partner across all areas of the organization and interact with all staff.

  • Possession of excellent project management and prioritization skills with attention to deadlines and details.

  • Ability to work with and respect sensitive and confidential information.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • EDUCATION - Bachelor's or 4 years of work experience above the minimum qualification

  • EXPERIENCE - 5 Years of Experience
