Job Description:

Responsible for managing and supporting Enterprise Risk Management in its efforts to continuously improve its processes and programs. Designs, develops, and implements corporate-wide training programs, materials, and tools. Provides timely and effective communications to Discover personnel, including management, on Enterprise Risk Management-related topics. Ensures the Voice of the Customer is heard and incorporated into Enterprise Risk Management practices and programs. Provides tactical leadership to the development and maintenance of strong Risk Culture practices for the organization. Actively manages and escalates risks and issues within the day-to-day role to management.

Responsibilities

  • Assists in the development of an enterprise-wide risk management training program.

  • Supports the design, development, implementation, maintenance of risk training materials, tools, and resources.

  • Manages Enterprise Risk Management communications throughout the organization.

  • Supports enterprise-wide Risk Identification workstream including risk taxonomy governance, risk identification and risk aggregation.

  • Supports the development of governance, risk and compliance (GRC) tool Risk Identification workstream requirements including risks and controls

  • Supports enterprise-wide Risk Culture initiatives.

  • Coordinates and facilitates efforts for continuous improvement via Voice of the Customer and other methods of user feedback for Enterprise Risk Management programs.

  • Supports the design, development, implementation, and execution of methodologies to improve Enterprise Risk Management processes and programs.

  • Manages the coordination of internal audits, consulting engagements, and exams impacting Enterprise Risk Management.

  • Facilitates communication and builds effective working relationships with key business stakeholders across the three Lines of Defense.

  • Assists senior management on ad hoc analysis and reporting.

Minimum Qualifications

At a minimum, here’s what we need from you:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Engineering, or related field

  • 4+ years of experience in Risk Management, Financial Services, Process Improvement, Economist, or related field

  • In lieu of a degree, 8+ years of experience in Risk Management, Financial Services, Process Improvement, Economist, or related field

Compensation:

The base pay for this position generally ranges between $88,500.00 to $149,300.00. Additional incentives may be provided as part of a market competitive total compensation package. Factors, such as but not limited to, geographical location, relevant experience, education, and skill level may impact the pay for this position.
