Our client, in Roanoke, VA is seeking an IT System Administrator Assc. to join their team.

Job Title: IT System Administrator Assoiciate

Location: Roanoke, VA

Pay Range: $25-30/hr

What’s the Job?

• Maintain IT/OT Infrastructure systems (hardware and software) for 24/7/365 critical real-time operations facilities.

• Support users of OT Infrastructure systems.

• Ensure and provide documentation for compliance with regulatory standards and company policies.

• Participate in a team culture of consistency, transparency, adaptability, and understood accountability.

• Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of computer hardware and peripherals.

• Install, update and patch operating systems, firmware, and software packages.

What’s Needed?

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or engineering related field OR Associate's degree with 2 years system administration related experience or High School Diploma/GED with 4 years system administration related experience

• Minimum of 2 years' System Administration related experience (in addition to any experience identified above)

• Detailed knowledge and experience is desired in the following areas:1. Windows and Linux Operating Systems2. HP Server and Workstation Hardware3. TCP/IP Networking4. Remote Computer Management
