The Hertz Corporation Sr Director - Identity Access Management in Roswell, Georgia

A Day in the Life:

The Senior Director, IAM/CIAM will create, build/enhance, and provide operational oversight to the global IAM and CIAM programs at Hertz. This role has a direct impact on the authentication and access to Hertz Information systems, balancing secure access with appropriate access to Hertz business systems for ongoing operational support of the business.

What You Will Do:

  • Develops and executes a comprehensive IAM strategy aligned with business objectives, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.

  • Leads the design, implementation, and management of IAM systems, processes, and controls to safeguard Hertz digital assets and ensures seamless access for authorized users.

  • Oversees the CIAM program, including registration, authentication, authorization, and profile management inclusive of security controls such as MFA, account takeover, and fraud prevention.

  • Explores, chooses, implements, and provides operational oversight of technology-based tools and methodologies to provide a strong IAM program that balances access with compliance and confidentiality.

  • Identifies and evaluates complex business, technology risks, and impact of current decisions related to user access, data access, and information security.

  • Leads a team that builds IAM processes, provisions and or removes access to data, systems, and applications in a global environment.

  • Responsible for managing lifecycle of all Hertz user and privileged accounts from provisioning to deletion.

  • Creates a strong automation program for appropriate access processes.

  • Develops, maintains, and reports service level management metrics for Identity Access requests.

  • Manages Identity Access incidents and resolve password and access issues within prescribed SLAs.

  • Closely supports PCI, SOX, and other regulatory initiatives.

  • Creates and manages a strong multi-factor authentication program, as well as remote access schemas.

  • Aligns IAM processes across the organization and develops standards for organizational use.

  • Leads a team of identity access management professionals. Provides leadership, mentorship, and guidance to his/her direct reports.

  • Provides performance management and development initiatives.

  • Contributes to the financial performance of the IAM program, ensuring actual costs are aligned with budgeted dollars.

  • Represents the IAM program in executive briefings to senior management.

  • Educates all stakeholders, internal and external, on Identity Access Management policies, processes, and procedures.

  • Leads process improvement and process optimization projects to reduce access provisioning times.

  • Partner with Software Engineering teams to develop optimal role-based access controls for enterprise applications.

  • Creates and monitors a process to support for the user community, resolve access issues, offer guidance on the correct access required.

  • Seeks out opportunities to collaborate with stakeholders from the various lines of business and functional areas.

What We're Looking For:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Information Technology and/or 15+ years equivalent experience, CPM, MBA a plus.

  • CISP, CISM, CISA Certifications. ITIL Certification a plus

  • BPM, Six Sigma, TQM experience a plus

  • Strong expertise in building IAM programs, Fortune 500 experience a plus.

  • Expert knowledge of IAM technologies such as: Privileged Access Management, Identity Governance & Administration, Identity Stores, LDAP, Privileged Access Management, Multi-Factor Authentication, Single Sign-On, Cloud Access Controls.

  • 5 years of leading a large Identity and Access management program, preferably for a large, global corporation.

  • 8 years of direct IAM experience.

  • Mainframe experience a plus.

  • Experience working in a global environment.

  • Ability to build and manage a collaborative environment for the team and other stakeholders to conduct problem solving, and executing changes based on evolving business needs.

  • Stong collaborative experience with auditors and compliance teams.

We expect the starting salary to be around $220,000 with annual bonus and profit-sharing eligibility. The actual salary will be determined based on years of relevant work experience
