Robert Half Calendar/Docket Clerk in San Francisco, California

Description We are seeking a Calendar/Docket Clerk to join our team in SAN FRANCISCO, California. In this role, you will be responsible for managing attorney calendars, maintaining all dockets for assigned cases, and managing all incoming/outgoing mail for the firm. You will also be tasked with tracking critical legal deadlines and maintaining the firm's calendaring system. This role is an integral part of our team, ensuring the smooth operation of our legal processes.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain all attorney calendars, including scheduling meetings, court appearances, and filing deadlines

• Create and update dockets for assigned cases, ensuring accurate and timely entry of all relevant information

• Manage all incoming and outgoing mail for the firm, calendaring all court dates and deadlines for attorneys accordingly

• Monitor and track critical legal deadlines, notifying attorneys and paralegals of upcoming due dates

• Prepare and distribute weekly and monthly calendar reports

• Research and confirm court appearances, filing deadlines, and local court rules

• Respond to inquiries from attorneys and staff regarding case schedules and deadlines

• Maintain the firm’s calendaring system

• Scan legal documents such as pleadings, discovery, depositions, invoices, and correspondence into filing system related to assigned cases

• Utilize Microsoft Office Suites, Calendar - Docket, Calendaring, CompuLaw for various administrative tasks. Requirements • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suites

• Experience in Calendar - Docket management

• Familiarity with calendaring procedures and software

• Knowledge and experience in using CompuLaw

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

• Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions

• High level of discretion and confidentiality to handle sensitive information

• Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
