Some Responsibilities as a Fund Accounting Manager:

  • Ensure thorough understanding of financial reporting and general ledger structure.

  • Review quarterly and annual financial statements for accuracy and compliance with US GAAP.

  • Coordinate accurate and timely audit and tax filings, including liaising with external service providers and addressing technical tax and accounting issues.

  • Monitor cash position and forecast future cash requirements for Funds.

  • Oversee capital calls and distributions to limited partners and underlying investments.

  • Assist with regulatory compliance and support overall department goals.

  • Analyze departmental work to enhance efficiency while maintaining accuracy.

  • Address inquiries from limited partners and handle special reporting requests promptly and accurately.

  • Provide guidance to accountants on non-routine reporting transactions.

  • Mentor and coach junior team members.

    Requirements

  • 5+ years’ experience in Audit/Fund Accounting

  • Open to straight out of public audit at Manager or Sr. Manager level**

  • Degree in Accounting, Business, or Econ – Big plus with strong GPA

  • CPA

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment
