Amazon Principal PM-Technical, Twitch-Audio-Podcasts in Seattle, Washington

Description

Twitch, Audio, and Podcast advertising is complex, as we run video, audio, and display advertising across web, mobile, and CTV surfaces. We are also at an inflection point where we are both moving to a scaled, multi-publisher tech platform and evolving our product portfolio and selling motion to make our ad products applicable for all Amazon advertiser customers across our multiple demand programs. You will help lead this transformation, working with engineering partners, Sales, Go-to-Market, and demand programs across Amazon Ads. You will also partner closely with publisher team (Twitch, Amazon Music, Wondery) and influence consumer facing features that can be monetized through advertising.

Strong partnership with multiple product, business, and technology teams across Amazon is critical to success in this role. This role will require you to drive alignment and make high-judgment decisions including difficult tradeoffs with implications beyond your own teams.

The successful candidate must possess strong verbal and written communication skills, be self-driven, and have the ability to deliver high quality results in a fast paced environment. We are looking for someone customer-obsessed with a passion for advertising.

Key job responsibilities

Successfully develop solutions that enable advertisers to grow their business leveraging our suite of advertising product.

Create effective go-to-market mechanisms to maximize business opportunities.

Meet with customers and convert their feedback into concrete product improvements and milestones.

Work backwards from the end state for customers to define product and design requirements.

Develop the roadmap and drive product development

Unblock and expedite multiple engineering teams.

Successfully launch and ramp the product and features worldwide.

Establish and measure success criteria in ambiguous areas like performance optimization.

Represent the quality and growth of creatives in organization-wide business reviews and documents.

A day in the life

As Principal Product Management - Technical, you will lead the product vision and roadmap for podcast advertising. You will have experience leading complex product initiatives across internal teams and stakeholders to prioritize roadmap features and spearheading the definition of new capabilities through product and technical design documents. You will have a high level of comfort with ambiguity, a deeply analytical mindset with the ability to investigate complex challenges, and can effectively influence across organizations. You work backwards from the customer, dive deep into data to understand the issues, and drive product development to deliver collaboratively with your teams and partners.

About the team

This role will sit on the Twitch-Audio-Podcasts leadership team. We work to maximize ad revenue opportunities for Amazon and these unique entertainment publishers. We partner closely with product and program teams across Amazon to create ad supply, and with a multiple Ads teams to scale demand.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Do you have experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition?

Preferred Qualifications

  • Do you have experience working directly with Engineers on product enhancements?

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $144,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $279,900/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
