As a supervisor for the File Team, you will lead the team responsible for collecting, reviewing and organizing paper partner files from all North American company operated stores. This will include supporting the ongoing sustainment of the Electronic Partner Record (EPR) project as well as various HR Operations workstreams.

You will be responsible for hiring, onboarding, and training a team supporting operations. In this role you will partner closely with the EPR project team to understand and align on timeline requirements, plan the logistics for paper movement to the team, and share progress on team’s operations.

As a supervisor of the File Team, you will…

• Hire, onboard and lead direct reports in their daily performance.

• Design and manage the day-to-day operations to intake, review, and organize paper file scanning for all North American stores. Develop, track and report on metrics to measure team and individual performance.

• Work cross-functionally to design optimized processes and work in alignment with project timeline and goals.

• Ability to apply knowledge of multidisciplinary business principles and practices to achieve successful outcomes in cross-functional projects and activities

• Strong leadership skills with proven ability to lead, coach and mentor others

• Strong knowledge of human resource standards and practices, including employment related compliance legislation. Knowledge of supervisory processes and procedures

• Ability to maintain the confidentiality and security of highly sensitive information; ability to establish and enforce information security procedures

• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team

• Ability to attain proficiency in SAP Human Resource Information System (HRIS) applications

• Ability to set priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, rapidly-changing environment

• Ability to work with set up processes and practices that help ensure compliance with legal requirements

• Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Outlook, Excel and Access)

• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage time

• Skill in attending to detail Ability to provide a high level of customer service with consistent follow-through

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to recommend appropriate solutions

• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing

• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships

*If you are working in CA, CO, IL, LA, ME, MA, NE, ND or RI, you will accrue vacation up to a maximum of 120 hours (190 in CA) for roles below director and 200 hours (316 in CA) for roles at director or above. For roles in other states, you will be granted vacation time starting at 120 hours annually for roles below director and 200 hours annually for roles director and above.

The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, and internal equity. At Starbucks, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at the high end of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each position and candidate.
